In the past the type of work we as humans did was based more on necessity than choice. You’re a farmer, or metal-smith, scholar, soldier, weaver—you did what you had to do, and circumstances were largely out of your control.

There have also always been people who dreamed of being more than their environment, but breaking out of the path many were born into certainly had to be more of an exception than what is possible today.

Things have changed. The internet, just as one example, is one of the greatest equalizers of opportunity ever! Anybody with a great idea, the skills and the resources can capitalize on a worldwide audience. Hopefully you’ve realized that but you know what? Out of habit many people still don’t.

As a society we haven’t figured out that the necessity of “doing what we have to do” isn’t as ironclad as many would be led to believe; that we have way more options today and way more opportunity then we can even handle. Yes or yes?

The fact is, though, most people do not love what they do for a living. They suffer through it. They do it because they “have” to do it, because they should do it, or because they’re skilled at it. I especially love that one.

“But do you like what you do?”

“I hate it but I’m good at it!”

Are you supposed to love work? Yes!

You know how we can make everyone successful? We’ll all just do one thing. We’ll all be internet marketers. Everyone will get rich, how about that? NO! It’s boring! Maybe not for you, but maybe for someone else who needs, wants and loves to personally interact with as many people as possible. The challenge for them is to find a way to get rich incorporating that into what they do or whatever their passion is.

So it’s imperative to do what we love to do, what we truly enjoy. Joy is a clue from the heart, different from pleasure. When you invoke the feeling of joy you’re tapping into your higher nature, your truer self, and the source of your full power, your full creativity, your full wisdom.

Passion creates energy. Energy creates enthusiasm. When you are passionate about what you do does that come through? Will people want what you’ve got? Have you ever bought anything or wanted to buy something from someone just because you liked that person, versus a person that’s got a really good product, but who shows none or—even worse—false enthusiasm? You don’t want to buy like that. It makes a huge difference for people.

Human energy, at its purest form, is love. And that energy transfers just like any other energy. When you’re passionate about something, you don’t have to sell it. You’re simply educating others on something you really believe in, and their lack of enthusiasm doesn’t temper yours, but rather the other way around. If you don’t love what you do, then what the hell are you doing?!

Now it’s your turn! What do you think? What are the barriers that keep people from realizing that there doesn’t have to be a discrepancy between becoming rich and becoming joyful in what you do? We want to hear from you!!

  • I feel like a Million Bucks…!

    The Second Chakra- Journaling- Gratitude..

    Yesterday I had a incredible Breakthrough…

Here is what it begins…in December of last year, I was given the book by a friend, actually I won it at my networking group for passing referrals, the book “Secrets of a Millionaire Mind”(more on the Millionaire Mind Intensive later).

For the entire year of 2010, I have been repeating the affirmation “I have a millionaire mind, and many other to shift my mind set around money from scarcity to abundance, as I have been broke my entire life.  Throughout this entire year I  have said these words and many other empowering words over and over again, written them down… shared them with others, truly given a 100% of my attention to believing in this…

My focus has finally paid off and through the process of going through a deep healing adventure with Susan Freedom a Mile Hi Practitioner and founder of the freedom center, I have had the most amazing “Radical Transformation” of all. At the end of our session, I formally declared with excitement and a depth of knowing-ness IN MY BODY  that “I FEEL LIKE A MILLION BUCKS!”

I caught myself and realized what I had just felt and said, and put two and two together and realized I am there! I do have a millionaire mind and I DO FEEL like a million bucks!!!!

When I first read the book “Secrets of a Millionaire Mind” by T. Harv Eker, I was fascinated that he was applying the philosophy of Yoga to Money. I read through the various Wealth Files and the power of positive thinking and the deep desire to have that which you want, and it was all focused on feeling your worth around money. I was intrigued and fascinated because so much of what I read in the book, I have learned through my yoga practice, through personal development and self growth, yet had never ever thought about how this all related to scarcity/abundance and money in my life. It was like a deep “Aha Moment”! But how could I really get to the core of my money issues. Where did they come from?

At the beginning of the year, I found out the my former husband was taking me back to court. He decided he needed to re-adjust child support (as I am on the other end of this, I can write nicely about it, didn’t feel this way then, image a peaceful yogi cursing a lot ;-) ).

This process along with an emotional ordeal relating to a Yoga studio that Karmically ended up burning down/up) sent me into a financial tailspin. It lead me straight out of my amazing home which I was loving and into my parents basement (as humiliating as it was to move back home, it was a blessing for this single mom and for my daughter to live with Grandma for awhile). I knew deep in my heart there was healing to be done with my mom as well (mostly around $$$$), and it was temporary, as everything truly is.

In June I attended the Millionaire Mind intensive in Denver. I had no idea this weekend would change my life forever. While there I learned that all the negative statements I had believe all my life where holding me back from being successful in career and in life.  I was conditioned by my parents to believe “Money doesn’t grow on trees”, Rich people are unethical, I don’t deserve to be successful… and on and on the negative thoughts of money went….

Through my life these last 20 years, I know with every ounce of my being that If I want something bad enough, think about it enough and feel I can be/have it, it will be so.  So I am so excited to be in this transformation for I now know for sure (love how Oprah says that “What I know for sure”) that I am successful in every area of my life.

I am grateful for all that I have been though this year, the ups and downs of the roller coaster ride that have all led me close to living my best life. A truly abundant live and I hope you will  join me on this journey. The Millionaire Mind Intensive is returning to Denver in November and I am hoping to be working as part of the Karma Krew, to be of service and give back and share my transformation. If you are interested, please let me know as I have some tickets and more information for you.

Back to my friend Susan Freedom, I am so grateful for her time and work with me that I am going to show her my appreciate by sending her a “Thank you card” using

Try one now for FREE on me. It’s an amazing service…

As I learned from Deepak Chopra last Monday when I heard him speak live at Mile Hi, the best way to make someone else happy is to do three simple things…

Give them ATTENTION, AFFECTION, AND APPRECIATION!

I appreciate you for reading this and being a part of my journey. As I share with my daughter all the time, Sharing is Caring… would love to hear about your financial transformation… share your comments/stories below on this post.

    Peace and Love Always,

    Casey
